History of Logos Fellowship Church
Pastor Darrel D. Fincher had a vision to plant a church in Rowlett, TX. After seeking God and much prayer our visionary and Pastor began to contact family and friends to form a core group of believers to come together and share this vision with him. Meetings began October 13th, 2013 until February 16th, 2013 at the home of Lynell and Dehavilland McMiller. During those meetings Pastor Fincher shared his Vision by first Welcoming the core group, Presenting the Name of the church: LOGOS FELLOWSHIP CHURCH, the Mission Statement, “WE EXIST TO BUILD PEOPLE UP TO REACH PEOPLE WHO ARE DOWN TO RESEMBLE THE SAVIOR”, the Five Year Ministry Model, the Proposed Budget, Worship Location and dates and Church Leaders.
Pastor Darrell D. Fincher & Jessie M. Fincher
Forty-Five (45) persons adult and children formed the core group with Pastor Darrel D. Fincher and his wife Jessie M. Fincher. The first worship service was held Sunday, March 10, 2013 @ 10:00 am @ the ROWLETT COMMUNITY CENTER 5300 Main Street, Rowlett TX 75088. The present location is where the church continues to hold Worship Services. During this first year new members have united with the church and are being feed by the Word of God. Logos Fellowship Church is growing and continuing in its efforts to reach the masses for God’s Kingdom. It is the goal of Pastor Fincher to assist the people of God in achieving the spiritual nourishment needed in order to grow and develop into the person that God has called his people to be.
Under the divine Leadership of our Pastor, Darrel Delaino Fincher, who has the heart of a Sheppard; in God will continue to be a Servant used by God. God is doing extraordinary things at Logos Fellowship Church and He has blessed us with our new location @ 842 Hillburn Dr. Dallas TX, as of December 27, 2015. We are excited about what the Lord is doing in this season; But as it is Written: “Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man the things which God hath prepared for them that love Him.” 1 Corinthians 2:9
